SHIPPING AND RETURNS POLICY

At Almafiel, we are firmly committed to the quality, safety, and traceability of each product. We want your shopping experience to be simple, fast, and secure.

Shipping

Scope and delivery times

  • Mainland Spain: €2.99 | FREE from €35 | Delivery in 2–3 working days
  • Balearic Islands: €4.49 | FREE from €35 | Delivery in 3–4 working days
  • Canary Islands: €8.99 | FREE from €35 | Delivery in 3–5 working days
  • Mainland Portugal: similar conditions to mainland Spain (2–3 working days)

Important note for the Canary Islands:

Orders may be subject to customs handling fees (DUA) and local taxes such as IGIC, which shall be borne by the customer and must be paid at destination. Almafiel has no control over these additional costs and cannot estimate them in advance.

Other considerations

Delivery times may vary in exceptional circumstances (strikes, weather conditions, high demand periods). We will always notify you if we detect a possible delay.

Orders are prepared within 24–48 working hours of payment confirmation.

Returns

At Almafiel, animal health and safety is a priority. That is why we apply a clear and responsible policy:

Food products and nutritional supplements

For reasons of hygiene, food safety, and quality control, we do not accept returns of opened or unsealed products (art. 103 RDL 1/2007).

Returns will only be accepted if:

  • The product is unopened, with the seal intact, in its original packaging, and in perfect condition.
  • The request is made within 14 calendar days of delivery.

Procedure

  • Write to hola@almafiel.es indicating your order number.
  • We will confirm the steps to follow and the return address.
  • The cost of return shipping is borne by the customer (except in the case of an error attributable to Almafiel).
  • Once we receive the product in good condition, we will issue a refund using the same payment method within a maximum period of 14 days.

Refunds

  • Refunds may be withheld until we receive the goods or reliable proof of their return.
  • In the event of an error on Almafiel’s part (incorrect or defective product), we will cover the return shipping costs and issue a full refund.

Warranty

  • We guarantee a reasonable best-before date on all food and supplements upon delivery.
  • If the date is particularly short, this will be clearly indicated on the product page.

Important notices

Damaged or incorrect orders must be reported within 24–48 hours of receipt, with photos to support the claim.
